Our Company

Founded in 1958 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Barratt has become Britain's best known housebuilder and has built and sold over 300,000 homes. We have an unrivalled track record of consistent growth over recent years and the Group now has a network of over 30 housebuilding divisions located throughout Great Britain.

We currently build and sell around 21,000 new homes a year and are building on approaching 600 developments from Aberdeen to Plymouth, helping to meet housing demand in towns, cities and rural areas. We provide homes for all market sectors, plus homes for rent and shared ownership.
